Terms and conditions of use for this service (latest May 2011)

By using this site (and our services you agree to the following)

Part 1. General Terms of Use

1. What's it Like Interactive Limited owns the intellectual property rights (IPR) of all the content and materials found on www.whats-it-like.co.uk (including www.wili.me, www.whatsitlike.co.uk, www.whatsitlike.eu). You are not permitted to download, save, copy, re-publish or distribute any of our images, video or other unless you have express permission. 2. You must not use our website in any way that causes damage to the website or negatively impacts on the availability / accessibility of our website. 3. You must not use our website for anything illegal or in any way that is connected to anything illegal or fraudulent 4. Your clip means material (text, images, audio material, video material and any other audio-visual material) that you submit to our website that you want us to market. Your clips must not be illegal or unlawful in nature, they must not infringe any third party's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or us or a third party. If they do you agree to indemnify us against any losses. 5. Staff that feature in your clip/s may sign a model release form which we will provide upon request. Where no form has been signed we assume they have given you (and us) their permission to film. 6. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage of any nature; whether consequential, indirect or other loss or damage; we will not be liable for any loss of profit, income, revenue, anticipated savings, contracts, business, goodwill, reputation, data, or information as a result of you using our website. 7 We are not responsible for links made to or from our site, you follow links at your own request and we are not responsible in any way for the content you find off site.

Part 2. Offers and Savings

1. What's it Like Interactive Limited lists and shows you companies that may provide an offer or incentive for you to enjoy (e.g. 10% off, VIP status, two for one meals etc). 2. Companies we list retain the right to change, amend or cancel their offers at any time and without notice.

Vouchers are valid for use by you and are non-transferable for the date / month shown. Signature ID may be required at the time of use for verification purposes. Proof of age may be required for entry to bars and clubs. It is your responsibility to check with individual venues and businesses before committing to purchases or visits. It is your responsibility to understand the terms of the exact offers being made (if any) at the time of your purchase / visit.

Please quote whatsitlike when you book, or before you buy, and find out which offers are currently available. Some member company offers may be subject to restrictions on certain days and times and may not be the offer or discount listed on www.whatsitlike.co.uk on special calendar dates (including Bank Holidays, Mothers day, Fathers Day, Valentines day, and the Christmas and New Year period). You need to check that your voucher is valid for the date you plan to use it. Offers may also be available on certain menu’s only e.g. buffet, excluding set menu’s. Pre-booking is essential at some establishments and failure to do so may render all offers invalid. For establishments not requiring pre-booking, please present your voucher on arrival and again when asking for the bill to avoid any confusion. On offers available to larger groups, only one bill will be totalled per table / group, unless otherwise stated - again seek clarification at individual establishments.

All offers are subject to availability, and the management of each individual establishment retain the right to refuse the offer / admission. We reserve the right to remove member companies, and the right to amend these terms without notification or notice. Every effort has been made to ensure that all information on this website is correct at the time of publishing. Please be aware, offers or other information may change on this website. We will endeavour to keep the website updated with product developments. Whatsitlike.co.uk cannot accept any responsibility for factual errors contained in the website. In the event that your membership card is lost or stolen, please use the online contact form to inform us of the incident, together with your full contact details.

2. Notes on Jan / Feb Super Savings Vouchers (Swansea only, Pink Vouchers & downloadable via www.whatsitlike.co.uk) Offers are subject to the conditions above plus when redeeming the CityTax Offer you must prebook and confirm the offer with the booking office (tel 01792 475 200). Lifestyle Money offers are available from the office in Swansea on 0844 344 0404. Sample offers (all subject to availability) include discounted insurance (both domestic & commercial) and preferential rates on PPI claims and a range of other financial services. More information will be provided when you call, quote 'whatsitlike' or 'wilij1'.

 

Part 3. General notes on copyright

1. What's it Like Interactive Limited owns the intellectual property rights (IPR) of all the content and materials found on www.whats-it-like.co.uk. We use royalty free stock music to back clips or music donated by local bands / musicians. If you feel your copyright has been infringed, please write to us using the contact form provided and detail your complaint. If you appear in a clip and this is against your wishes, please write to us and we will remove you.

We may revise these terms at any time and without notice. Revised terms of use will apply from the date of the publication, we advise you check these regularly on the page titled ‘terms’ on www.whats-it-like.co.uk.

Your Data and communications. Please be assued we do not, and will not pass your data on. Your details are confidential and will be treated with respect. Our payment partner (pay pal) offers a secure and confidential means of payment.

Communications - we will however email or text you ourselves from time to time to inform you of important changes to this service and/or to inform you of offers we think you might be interested in. Like you, we don't really appreciate pointless texts or emails so we will always keep this to an absolute minimum (e.g. maybe once or twice a month). We also appreciate your feedback concerning any aspect of our service, or on the customer service of the member companies. Member companies that do not come up to scratch will be removed.
